Solid Sterling silver hairpin. The wire used was sand cast by me using recycled silver bits from my studio. It creates such a lovely rustic pattern accentuated by patina.
This is the smaller of the hairpins in this collection. This will work for a variety of hair types but if you have very heavy thick hair a larger pin would be advised.
If you can put your hair in a bun then you can use a hairpin. Keep in mind hair pins do take some practice if this is your first time using one.
